My Story
As a Vice Principal assistant, a mentor, a community leader, and advocate for some of the youth in the inner city of Kansas City Missouri I am deeply passionate about education, at risk children and adolescents, and creating meaningful, lasting change in young lives. Every day, I walk into school driven by the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they are seen, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential. I see leadership not as a position, but as an opportunity—to guide, uplift, and inspire both youth and leaders.
What inspires me most are the "lightbulb moments"—those times when a student suddenly realizes what they're capable of. Whether it's helping a struggling learner find their voice or mentoring a young teacher through their first challenging year, I am committed to being a steady presence, a source of encouragement, and an advocate for excellence and equity in education.
To me, education is not just about academics—it's about shaping compassionate, resilient, and curious human beings. I strive to lead by example, fostering a culture of kindness, integrity, and growth throughout the Kansas City community. It’s more than a job. It’s a calling—and I’m honored every day to be part of a child’s journey.
